Collin Burnett

Project Manager

Collin Burnett joined Universal Electric Company in 2023 as a project manager. Starting in the electrical industry in 2002 as a non-union apprentice, he joined the I.B.E.W. apprentice training program in 2004.  He attained his journeyman electrical license in 2009 and continued building his skills for the next five years, earning a master electrician’s license in 2014. Over his career, Collin has worked on many projects, from medical office buildings and residential dormitories to solar energy generation fields and high-voltage power transmission substations. In 2014, Collin began his role as an estimator at Hickman & Sgroi Electric, working his way to senior estimator and project manager before venturing towards other opportunities in 2022. In his free time, Collin enjoys taking road trips around New England accompanied by his four children and wife of 18 years. Additionally, he occasions the golf course with his friends and looks forward to playing with his two rescue dogs every day.
